Halo Beriti
This coffee comes from the Halo Beriti Washing Station in Ethiopia, established in 2014, which serves 750 smallholder producers who deliver their coffee cherries for processing. The coffee is picked at peak ripeness and depulped the same day. It undergoes an 8–12 hour fermentation in open-air tanks, followed by a wash in water channels to remove the mucilage. The seeds are then spread on raised beds to dry for 5–15 days, depending on weather conditions. This lot received special preparation, with meticulous hand sorting during both the receiving and drying stages to ensure only the highest quality beans made it into the final bags.
