Banko Gotiti
The Banko Gotiti cooperative, founded in 2012, is made up of around 300 smallholder farmers. Like many in the region, they cultivate coffee on tiny plots without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers, relying on traditional, sustainable practices passed down through generations. After harvest (October–January), ripe cherries are delivered to the Banko Gotiti washing station, where they’re meticulously sorted, washed, and dried on raised beds to preserve their clarity and vibrant fruit character.
The result is a clean, fruit-forward Yirgacheffe that’s as nuanced as it is refreshing—perfect for coffee drinkers who love bright, sweet, and elegant Ethiopian profiles.
