Aptly named "Las Perlitas" or "Little Pearls," this beautifully complex washed lot is a celebration of dedicated smallholder producers across the Huila region of Colombia, including municipalities like Santa Maria, Garzon, Pitalito, and Palestina. This special offering is carefully curated by combining exceptional micro-lots that are too small to be exported individually, but boast incredible cup scores and profiles. Cultivated at elevations ranging from 1,600 to 2,000 meters above sea level, the blend features a mix of high-quality varieties heavily weighted with Pink Bourbon, alongside Caturra and occasionally Geisha. By uniting these tiny, high-quality harvests, this initiative rewards farmers for their meticulous, quality-driven practices without penalizing them for low volume. The result is a vibrant, fruit-forward cup that captivates with sweet notes of strawberry, kiwi, mango, and peach, balanced by a lively hint of orange sangria and an elegant, winey finish.
